What is BlackBerry?

Let's say you are a very important businessman. You are working your ass off all day long (and sometimes through the night), and your day is a very long rat race marked with e-mails, long distance calls, official letters and memos all aimed at getting you and your company to the top of some rich people chart. You have to be fast, get the information you need quickly and move it forward as fast as you can. In order to become the super-fast-businessman, you equip yourself with loads of electronic stuff – a laptop with a portable modem, a palm and a cell phone.  At this point of your career you probably feel very weighed down… And that’s where a BlackBerry device comes handy.

Officially BlackBerry is defined as a PDA short for personal digital assistant but unlike other similar devices it can fully integrate with the owner's personal computer in order to send and receive e-mails while on the go. It has a 'qwerty' keyboard (just like your computer keyboard) and it also allows you to receive attached files and phone calls all aimed at making your long day easier.  Another advantage of BlackBerry over it's competitors – it allows you to get your mail the minute it comes thanks to the push technology specially developed by RIM (BlackBerry mother company), and the Triple DES  encryption system which secures all the data passing through it.

What else can you do with it? Well BlackBerry has some other applications like: Messenger, Calendar, Appointment Diary, a WAP browser and a regular internet browser, games and any other stuff you have on your cell phone. More upcoming features include a built-in camera and an mp4 Player. Not bad, right?
