Sell your cell phone, save a gorilla

See, if gorillas just had more cell phones, when they see a poacher coming, they can just call for help.

Actually, the way it works is Eco-Cell is a for profit company that will give you up to $15, depending on the model, for your cell phone, cell phone accessories, and batteries. They in turn sell the donated cell phones to a refurbisher and give a chunk of the profits to gorilla conservation agencies.

Plus, after the cell phones are refurbished they're redistributed to low income families in Latin America or donated to local hospitals; meaning even if you don't want to help the gorillas, you'll be helping humans too.
