Tila Tequila promotes hooking at T-Mobile Sidekick Party
So on August 1st, T-Mobile had a big red carpey event in LA for the new Tony Hawk special edition of the Sidekick LX, meaning there were cameras... and where their are cameras Tila Tequila is sure to follow.
It turns out the media whore was being suprisingly literal, showing up at the event to talk up her new book "Hooking (up) with Tila Tequila":
Tony Hawk Sidekick harbinger of things to come?
The Tony Hawk Sidekick LX might just be a tie in with the Sidekick sponsored Tony Hawk's Boom Boom HuckJam tour, but the limited edition still looks to be the best Sidekick yet.
Sidekick Slide Scarlet: T-Mobile lagging
I don't want to call this announcement underwelming but AT&T is about to debut the 3G iPhone and T-Mobile counters by offering the Sidekick Slide... in a different color?
Does T-Mobile even do market research on non-announcements like this? Like 15-year-old girls would actually be willing to pay 200 bucks for a phone that only has a 1.3 mega-pixel camera if it comes in the same color as their period?
buy used cell phones and accessories: Sidekick 3
The problem with trying to buy used cell phones and accessories on the internet is there's no universal pricing scheme; the only way to figure out to figure out who has the best price is the tedious process of comparing sites one by one.
Which is exactly what we did, first looking up used iPhones before finding that no used cell phone site actually had an iPhone; forcing us to focus on finding used Sidekick 3s.
Microsoft owns world, Sidekick specifically
While Microsoft continues to play footsie with Yahoo, they've completed a deal to buy Sidekick manufacturer Danger. They paid $500 million... or roughly Bill Gates' lunch money.
Microsoft will continue to employ Danger co-founders Matt Hershenson and Joe Britt, and Danger will continue to be based out of Pal-Alto, California.

T-Mobile: Don't buy the Sidekick Slide!
T-Mobile has just announced that they're taking all Sidekick Slides off the shelfs; effectively stopping their sale until further notice.
The prevailing problem is way too many customers have complained that the phone powers off when the slider on the front of the phone is either opened or closed; a great power saving function, but really bad if you say... actually want to use your phone.
Sidekick LX: new way to rip off children

Okay, I’ve never been a big Sidekick fan; so it’s fair to say I’m not looking at the just announced Sidekick LX with an open mind, but hear me out:
The issue with Sidekicks isn’t that they’re horrible, it’s just that anything a Sidekick does there’s always another handset that can to the exact same thing better at a cheaper price. Like let’s compare this Sidekick LX, which is supposed to be the line’s new flagship product against say the new Blackberry Curve 8320, also available through T-Mobile.
The Sidekick LX has a QWERTY keyboard; so does The Curve. The LX feature AOL Instant Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger. The Curve has AOL, Windows Live, and Yahoo! as well as Google Talk, ICQ, and Blackberry Messenger. The Sidekick has a 1.3 megapixel camera; The Curve has a 2 megapixel camera.
Is that a Sidekick Meagan Good is holding (NSFW)?
Taken outside the Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles; I think that's a Sidekick Meagan Good, star of such movies as Eve's Bayou and D.E.B.S. is holding but for some strange reason I can't seem to focus on her hand.
What do you guys think? Can you identify the mystery phone?
(Slightly not safe for work after the jump.)

I guess this is the phone for people who can want to be cool, but just can't afford it.
