If you are here reading this post then you're probably very old or very bored. Everyone (and I mean everyone) under the age of 40 probably knows what a SMS is and use it on a daily basis. PTT is short for Push to Talk, or maybe you know it by the name 'Beep-beep' or 'chirp'. PTT is a conversation method between two devices, using a two way radio button to switch between a voice reception mode to a transmit mode.
Such a small word yet such a big important meaning, WAP is short for Wireless Application Protocol. With this secure specification we can access information with our mobile phones, pagers, two-way radios, smart phones and communicators. WAP supports most of the wireless networks that we know like GSM, CDMA, TDMA and IDEN, and also supports all of the operating systems.

Short for Code-Division Multiple Access which is being used by cellular providers like Sprint PCS and Verizon. As opposed to GSM technology, the CDMA does not assign a specific frequency to each user. Instead, every channel uses the full available spectrum.
