Death of the Robo calls!

The only thing more annoying than a telemarketer is an automated message telemarketing... I mean you can't even get the emotional satisfaction of telling them off because an automated message is like my ex-wife; capable of talking but not capable of listening.

However, it apears the Federal Trade Commision is finally taking care of the problem, the robo calls not my alimony payments, as they just past a new law, fazing out the nuisance.

California judge rules cell phone termination fees illegal

If you think cell phone termination fees are unfair well get this... the goverment actually agrees with you.

California Superior Court Judge Bonnie Sabraw has just issued a tenitive ruling against Sprint, and for a class action suit of Sprint customers, stating that the terminations fees are illegal. Sprint must pay $18.3 to customers who paid the fee, and another $54.8 in credit to the customers who refused to pay the fee.

Mobile Phone throwing - yes it's an actual sport

At least if Wikipedia is to be believed, and when has Wikipedia been factually incorrect about something?

Apparently Mobile Phone Throwing has been around since 2000, when it started in Finland, where the World Championship is held each year. Other than the phone having to be over 220 grams, the rules are pretty self explanatory. You just chuck your cell phone as far as you can, and the one who gets it furthest is the winner.

Don't want to talk? Go directly to voice mail!

Ever dial someone hoping they don't pick up the phone. That it goes directly to voice mail, and you can avoid whatever uncomfortable conversation you were to endure?

Slydial lets you worm out of the conversations, by making it look like you made an attempt to talk to them. Basically the way it works is you dial (267) SLY-DIAL, then type in the cell phone number you want and they connect you directly to that person's voice mail.

Blackberry Kickstart still ugly but cheap

So when we first wrote about the Blackberry Kickstart, i admit I was sceptical of Blackberry releasing a flip phone, reasoning Blackberry should stick to what they do well, as opposed to trying to be be every kind of phone for every person.

Racist Obama Monkey sells cell phones in Japan

Is Barack Obama trying to turn America into a Banana Republic or is this ad just political monkey business?

Neither, this Japanese spot is meant to sell cell phones for EMobile, who thought having the Ku Klux Klan introducing the all new WHITE iPhone would be a little bit too overly overt.

Can you guess where this guy misplaced his cell phone?

"ouch""ouch"

So apparently Jeffrey Barrier really likes looking at naked women. That's no big... I mean who doesn't?

The only problem is the 41-year-old Ohio man likes going into tanning salons and taking naked pictures of women on his cell phone camera. Jeff got caught at Cincinnati's Aloha Tanning shooting a 35-year-old woman tanning in the nude, and rather than just admitting to what he did, he tried to hide the evidence when the cops were called.

naked underage self pics make you a sex criminal

Did you know anyone under the age of 18 who takes a naked cell phone picture of themselves is committing a criminal act? Even if they never show it to anyone? Here's the crazy case that brought it to my attention:

In Pittsburgh, a 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged with sexual
abuse of children, possession of child pornography and dissemination of
child pornography when she posted nude and sexually explicit photos of
herself on the Internet in 2004.
