No, this isn't a Beatles blog but if you're looking for Motorola secret codes, you've come to the right place. Here are some codes that will either illuminate how to use your cell phone or confuse you even further... we're hoping the former.

Not all codes are guaranteed to work with all phone, so use these codes at your own risk.

Motorola Secret Codes:

To get your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number:*#06#
The "master key" unlock code for phone and SIM card lock: 19980722 OK
To change the phone's PIN number: [] [] [] 0 0 4 [] 1 []
Access the manufacturing information:*#403# OK
Adding phonebook to the main menu: [] [] [] 1 0 5 [] 1 []
Turn on Enhanced Full Rate (improves call quality/trade off of using 5% more energy:*3370# ->
To make Enhanced Full Rate go away: #3370# ->
Change default language to English (lovely when renting cell abroad): *#303# Ok ->
Adding messages to main menu: [] [] [] 1 0 7 [] 1 []
Unlocking SIM after pressing wrong PIN three times ("puk" number): [] [] [] 0 0 5 [] 1 []
Copy your phonebook menu: [] [] [] 1 0 8 [] 1 []
Save settings and restore default language: *#0000# OK ->
Lists Hardware and Software Version: *#300# OK ->
Play around in Engineering mode: #304*19980722# ->
And to make it go away: *304# OK ->
Turning the net monitor on: * * * 1 1 3 * 1 * [OK]
And off: same
Keypads functionality test: *#301# OK ->

I have a newer RAZR and the external screen goes black after a bit and you cant see it ON my old RAZR it would stay lit enough to see. I have tried EVERYTHING and the guys at the store say it is just that way. I have no clue how to do a seem edit. Any ideas? i have a motorola z3 my ex girl thought she was cute by establishing codes to be entered in my phone being that she was intoxicated she fails to remember what these codes were that she entered i can make and receive calls but cant go or do anything else when i press call button itbrings up enter unlock code if i then press ok key it brings up enter security code been on phone with t mobile rep tried all defauts no luck there telling me i have to buy a new phone problem is i have legal docs stored in phone that must not be lost are there any codes or internal dismanteling that can be done to eliminate these codes i never use codes of any kind cause ive always been afraid of this sort of thing happening here is your challenge i hope you can prove t mobile to be idiots

I have a motorola phone that does the following:
Turning on- brings up a white screen with a bunch of text: TSP, etc. The phone will not go into regular mode.
I took it in to a Verizon(plan through them)dealer and they said the phones computer
is fried. They checked it with a computer and couldn't do anything with it. They
said I will have to purchase a new phone!
Is there a code I can punch in to reboot the phone or fix it? I really don't want to
have to buy a new phone. This one is only 1 1/2 years old. Let me know.

The codes provided on this site lack sufficient information and feedback from the author. Hacking your own equipment is certainly legitimate. But DO NOT risk entering codes that are not not documented nor even explained by the autho. Consider the heightened risk:

a) So many others cannot get an answer to their basic entry questions.
b) These symbols don't even appear on most Motorola phones: OK -> [], etc.
