It's driven by an electric motor between the two front wheels, and you can either remotely control its speed with your Bluetooth cellphone or lean forward to accelerate, backward to slow down or brake. Basically, it is what it is - a surfboard for people who are afraid of water.

I wasn't surprised to find out that GroundSurf will be distributed by a surf brand - Gordon and Smith - sometime in 2008. Although it looks like a solid too-cool-for-school-kinda-tool, I think it's just another version of the Segway, which indeed fits perfectly into a new Weird Al Yankovic hit video, but that's about it.
