World's highest phone call placed on Motorola MOTO Z8
A while ago we reported how British climber Rod Baber was going to attempt to place the world’s highest phone call; battling against the elements to brave the 29,035 feet up to the top of Everest; a feat that can only be compared to sucking a tootsie roll inside live volcano in terms of sheer inaneness. Sporting a new Motorola MOTO Z8 provided by the shameless enablers at Motorola; Baber made a couple of phone calls including one to his family; send a text message thanking his sponsor then got the hell out of there; as talking on the phone without an oxygen tank and staying conscience was an impossibility.
While I still think Rod Baber is insane, this was a great move by Motorola in promoting their new Motorola MOTO Z8 which with 30 frames per second video, up to 4GB in microSD capacity, comes preloaded with “The Borne Identity” and would be the perfect phone for when one is caught in an avalanche. Sure you’re probably not going to make; but at least now you can be suitably entertained while waiting out your inevitable death.
