Why would a phone be made of corn

very stylus-ishvery stylus-ish

If ever there was a post that demanded a corny joke, it's this one.

Samsung, wishing to cut through the maize and glut that is the cell phone market, has come up with a kernel of an idea of how they can make a product that is more eco-friendly.

The Samsung E200 Eco cellphone is made of a corn based bioplastic that at least in theory is more biodegradable and friendly to the enviroment. It also comes in a package made of recycled materials and had a 1.3 Mega-Pixel camera - which doesn't really have anything to do with recycling but I guess you can take pictures of recycling.

Anyway, the phone is being ear-marked for the European market, but could come out in America when the goverment realizes that there are other ways to drive up world grain prices besides just subsidizing Ethanol.
