So Palm and Verizon Wireless just had their big launch party for the Palm Centro, which had previously only been available on Sprint + AT&T, and all they could get to add star wattage to the event was Dancing with the Stars' Cheryl Burke?

She's not even one of the stars on the show, she's one of the dancers!

But at least not "A" list also means not A list prices. The Centro is $99 with a two year commitment... which for the amount of phone your getting actually isn't that bad a deal.

Thin for a Palm, it still has a full keyboard, Bluetooth 1.2, a micro SD Card slot for up 4GB of extra memory, touch screen, Voice Dial, and a below par 1.3-megapixel camera.

The Palm Centro has already sold about a million units in the US during the last year.
