Steve Ballmer thinks Android is not a threat to Windows Mobile

Though I have no idea why.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer in speaking to BBC declared that the new Google open source mobile OS, Android was not a threat to Windows Mobile because Android is still in version one and not as polished as a product.

What he seemed to be avoid pointing out is that while including Windows Mobile Android still costs phone manufactures money, Android is free; meaning if it's a completely bug free operating system or not, manufactures will still have a financial interest in trusting Android.

As for Ballmer, he generally seemed to be out of touch in the interview. He also declared Windows Vista their most popular operating system ever.
