Sanyo Presents: The Katana Family

Sanyoannounced its new line of slim and good lookin' phones, the Katana DLX and Katana II, exclusively for use on Sprint's network. The Katana DLX will come in three colors: Platinum Ice, Champagne, and Pink Satin. The Katana II is a bit more original when it comes to colors and will come in Cosmic Black (= a lost Hawkwind track), Pink Fascination ( = probably the Floyds at their best) , and Midnight Steel ( = Judas Priest still can't get no rest).
Katana users will have access to Sprint Power Vision, featuring fast over-the-air downloads from a library of more than 1.6 million songs, access to over fifty channels of live and on-demand video content via Sprint TV, and GPS navigation.
Both models will include the following:
* two-inch QVGA internal displays and a one-inch TFT external displays.
* camera phones (1.3-megapixel for the DLX; VGA for the Katana II)
* microSD Card slots (for up to 4GB of storage or as many as 4,000 songs)
* Bluetooth functionality; however, The Katana II includes a universal 2.5-inch headphone jack for music listening, while the
