Don't misunderstand, I like a cute baby just as much as the next guy, but when I heard that People and Hello teamed up to pay a record 14 million dollars for photos of Brad and Angelina’s new twins, well my gag reflex went into overdrive.

I mean I’m sure those kids are genetically perfect and it’s all novel that something is actually coming out of the black hole that is Angelina Jolie’s nether regions but apparently People sold 2.6 million copies of the magazine, it’s fourth highest selling issue ever, ranking behind only 9-11, Princess Diana's dying, and JFK JR.’s plane crash.

But while it’s the highest selling issue of People ever that didn't revolve around death; even Osama bin Laden deserves more press than Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Sure bin Laden is an evil terrorist but at least he did something his life. As opposed to the Jolie twins getting $14 million dollars from a magazine just for existing. And you wonder why the rest of the world hates us so much.

Look I'm sure that the money will end up going to charity, but if you give $14 million to an organization called the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, in the name of your newborn kids, well is that about the act of charity or just stroking your massive ego?
