I got the iphone 11th may 09. On the day for return if u don't want it. The phon e stops working. I went home thinking th e battery was dead,even when I charged it it shows no signs of charging. I call ed 02 and the told me I can't return it Because it's not working.I called carpho newarehouse the tolded me they don't re cognize my number. And guess what as soo n as 5.00 came the phone start to work t hat's when customer service is closed A nd all the stores are closed

oh god, this phone is a piece of real sh its of problems. some days before my 8gb iphone freezed up the lower touch areas and after that, i restored. but now, i m pissed off. it's not working now at al l except call receive via handsfree only .

I was trying to get installer.app progra mm to my iphone... when it downloaded an d I installed it then my iPhone just kep t to show me two kind of pictures or wha tever... one is the starting picture whe re is apple logo on black screen and the n it comes this pic where it says me to connect my iPhone with the cable that le ads to computer and iTunes logo.. well i t's connected to computer with the cable but it doesn't matter because the pic w on't change..:S.. and you know sometimes it's going black like a standby mode bu t after every 10 minutes or something li ke that

I purchased my 8 GB i phone in February. After 3 months of basic use it stared to freeze up. I went to the apple store and they suggested I back up and resto re. Done. It slowly has been giving me more and more problems. On a trip away from home it started turning off on me. the only way to work the phone was to p lug it in. The battery was full. I tal ked to apple care and they suggested onc e I get home I back it up and restore ag ain. Done. It won't come on at all. Ma iled it to apple and they told me it had water damage. I never had it near wate r! This in not under warrenty care now. It's going to cost me $250.00 out of pocket at least to repair. Do I really want to? Has any one else had this iss ue?

Need some help with my iphone. I dropped the phone and it fell on the stand-by/p ower button which got stuck. Beacuse of which the iphone kept restarting itself. my iphone shows continuously the message "This accessory is not made to work wit h iphone". This message comes more than 20 times a day and sometimes blocks the sound from the music. What is the source and how can one solve the problem?

I have had an iPhone basically since it came out. You have pretty much done an a mazing job listing all of its "flaws" Ho wever when you say "There's no HOME or STOP buttons on the internet browser, an d the period and comma buttons don't app ear on the main keyboard screen." This is fairly untrue. Right next to the web browser you have a refresh or stop butto n, just sometimes that bar will retract wile you are surfing just like the optio n to make your task bar minimize on a re gular computer... Also the home page thi ng is semi-correct you need to add your home page to your favorites and click on that or make a link on you actual iPhon e home. Pretty stupid I agree. There are a couple more flaws, one major. It has caused me to go through four iPhones and three sim cards attempting to find out the problem. The first more simple one i s my second and third iphone froze quite often and I would have to just let it " chill" for a bit or it would start to tr ip out and flash from the home screen to the screen saver back to the solid blac k screen until it calmed down and begun to work again. I have not had that probl em yet with my current iPhone. The secon d I have still not quite got my head aro und. It has to do with Apple & AT&am p;T's connection. I get more doped calls than I do successful calls. The weird p art is I will have full service, the fir st time I went and got a new sim card... still happened so I went and exchanged my iPhone... and updated everything, sti ll happened. Then I went back and ended up with a third phone this one was even worse and if I did make a successful cal l it would eventually become impossible for the other person to hear me or vise - versa. I re-donloaded iTunes, Defragge d my computer, everything! Then I went a nd got another new sim and activated it at the actually apple store... still hap pened. Now I am on my fourth iPhone. I h ave decided it is just a glitch with the version I am on even though it has happ ened with every version I have had it ha d just gotten worse with every update ex cept the most recent it is actually at a bout a 20% unsuccessful call ratio. I ha ve decided it is not my actually phone o r AT&T but Apple and AT&T's conn ection and they just need to figure that out.... so I am pretty much stuck waiti ng hoping people will leave voice mails so I can call them back or text me. Whi ch it can also take up too 6 hours for m e to get a voice mail, and about half of the time, people will call me and they will either get a busy signal or it will go to my voice mail and not alert me I received a call. Its all crazy, but what can you do? It’s an amazing phone asi de from this problem and everything else you listed. I believe half of these thi ngs you listed Apple porously left out f or when the new version comes around. V ery useful list however… there where a few things I though I had just not figu red out yet, but you clarified my phone was just lacking. -Kaity

i just got my iphone a week ago and it f reezes on me everyday...
i mean fa ir enough all you need to do it press th e button at the top of the iphone and th e home button at the same time for a whi le then it restarts but a phone that cos ts £300 should NOT freeze in the first place.
also for that amount of mon ey u would expect it to have all the bas ics that a normal phone has.. e.g: bluet ooth, zoom on camera and flash on camera , MMS, video camera. personally i think its pathetic how they can sell this phon e for so much.

I bought a new iPhone 8GB in late Januar y 2008. Fifteen days after purchase, the phone completely died. AT&T won't t ake the phone back after 14 days. I exch anged the phone for a new one at our loc al Apple store. After only 5 days, it di ed too. The second time it failed it nea rly burned my hand it was so hot. Apple is offering another exchange or refund m inus 10% restocking fee. Somehow paying Steve $40 doesn't seem equitable. I've g ot a better idea. How about I sue Apple and AT&T in small claims court in Bu ffalo, New York - in February! I'll be s eeking damages of $400 plus attorneys' f ees at $300/hour. Oh yeah - I put the ph one on my Amex card and am instructing A mex not to pay AT&T.

I have been completely unsatisfied with Apple. Purchased an iPhone my my 15 year old daughter for Christmas @ an ATT sto re of 21DEC07. On 25DEC07, the iPhone w ould not sync, so I had to replace throu gh the ATT store it was purchased and wa s charged a $39.90 re-stocking fee on 12 JAN08. Then the replacement's screen we nt blank. So another $39.9- re-stocking fee. So now I'm into this iPhone for o ver $480. Scheduled an appointment toda y @ 1:00pm @ the local Apple store in Ja cksonville,FL. Was 2 minutes late and m y appointment was cancelled. I was offe red another appt. in 2 hrs. Unacceptabl e. Apple has lost a customer and I plan on spreading the news of Apple's iPhone quality issues and poor customer support . The iPhone is over-rated.

the iphone is great u say it doesn't hav e zoom but you can download this now on the iphone's built in installer aswell a s many other games and soundsets etc. Th e internet goes just as fast as your wi fi so dnt blame the phone. I'm from the UK and i hven't had half the amount of p roblems. The sound on my phone is fine b ut i do have the problem where when i'm on safari it goes bck to the homepage. B ut at the moment my phone ran out of bat tery and when i go to charge it it won't any ideas? I dropped it a few days earl ier and it sed no sim but the sim ddnt f all out but then it was working fine cou ld it have anything to do with this?

Worked well until I figured out how to u se all the features.

My phone drops calls and fails several t imes a day. Apple replaced it yesterday and the new one does the same. Never d ropped a call with my AT&T Razor pho ne but this thing is horrible. Seems to be worse the more features I use (Ipod, notes, calendar ..etc.)
