iPhone: 6% full or empty?

Photo thanks to Rashiraj

iphone-1.pngAnother day, another survey about the iPhone.

This one states that while 77% of people know about the iPhone, and 41% have a favorable impression of it, only 6% of the 1,300 people who own a cell phone and are responsible for the monthly bill said they were interested in buying one.

Not exactly bad news, according to research firm Markitecture, who note that at it's hight the Motorola RAZR only achieved a market share of 6%. The way I figure, if your product costs between $499 or $599; if they're even to sell to even 1% of the people who have heard about the iPhone, they'll be turning a tidy profit.
