With the AT&T network causing so many iPhone 3G problems, it's nice to know there's one way to drive down prices on your carrier bill... sort of.

AT&T has just announced that they will be offering family plans with the iPhone 3G, meaning once your paying $39.99 for a voice plan, it's only $9.99 for each additional line.

However... you still have to pay $199 for each additional iPhone, $30 more dollars a month for a data plan for each iPhone, and still have to share the minutes with your relatives... for instance $69.99 for 700 minutes.

And, none of these figures include SMS because the iPhone doesn't even do that.

So if those stipulations work for you congratulations; if not - welcome to the majority.
