Google+Orange=The Google phone!!!
According to David Smith from the Observer (I know guys, it's the UK, but soon enough in a store near you...) Google and Orange are thinking about producing a Google-branded cellphone that would come pre-loaded with mobile versions of Google apps like Google Earth, Gmail, etc. The "Google phone" would be manufactured by HTC, which implies - but doesn't guarantee - that this thing might run Windows Mobile.
Google has been moving into the mobile space for a while now. There are already handsets that come pre-loaded with Google software, and recently they've also offered mobile versions of Google Maps and Gmail for download.
Even so, releasing a Googlephone would be a very big step for them, since ultimately Google's goal will probably be to be in all phones, and not just in the "Googlephone".
Wow, I guess that in the near future, internet will be a part of the past, ha? Well, what am I doing here? I think it's about time to be the first ones to launch a blog (ours?) in a CELLULAR version! Going to work on it starting… NOW! I have to get the best rank on the Googlephone:)
