Cell phone bling: Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold

golden rule: gold rulesLooking for a new way to say I'm bourgeoisie, please resent me?

Then maybe you need to check out the new Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold cell phone. This 18 carat gold plating chunk of cell phone bling, can be yours for a mere 1,000 Euros or about $1,355.00 in American money. Also included in that "bargain bin" price is a sapphire-coated, scratch-resistant glass display; coordinating desk stand and Bluetooth headset; and special ringtones from "background noise is music" master, Brian Eno.

In addition to featuring an ergonomic keypad, the medium sized slider phone also offers a 208 x 208 pixel, 262K color screen, 2 megapixel camera, and a talk time of about 2 hours and 45 minutes. It's a little heavy at 139 grams; but the knowledge you're being weighed down by 18 carat gold should stop the experience from becoming too painful.

The Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold edition is only going to be offered in certain markets, but something tells me if you can afford the phone, international shipping charges aren't going to be an issue.
