Blackberry Kickstart still ugly but cheap

So when we first wrote about the Blackberry Kickstart, i admit I was sceptical of Blackberry releasing a flip phone, reasoning Blackberry should stick to what they do well, as opposed to trying to be be every kind of phone for every person.

And while my thesis certainly seems logical, I hadn't known about one key factor - the price. Apparently once these Kickstarts launch in September, they'll be offered up for $49 with a two year commitment to T-Mobile.

So figuring you'll get the full Blackberry operating system, trackball, and camera... well it might not be an impressive Blackberry but for fifty dollars, that's a whole lot of phone.
