An oversimplification, but completely true.

Bill Gates left his day to day duties at Microsoft to focus on giving away his millions and billions through The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and it looks like one of the projects he's decided to fund is the Condom A Capella Ringtone, a free download aimed to make wearing a rubber (which isn't even rubber come to thing it) more socially exceptable in India.

There are about 2.5 million people in India living with HIV and even in a country over over a billion people that's too big a number. 

Actually, getting rid of that social taboo might also do something about India's overpopulation problem... but that's beside the point.

And in terms of the fight against HIV, well Bill Gates might be more effective if he tries to fund finding a cure, but the ringtone has already been downloaded 60,000 in a period of 12 days, so it's a start.
