Which is my problem with this upcoming BlackBerry phone, codenamed the BlackBerry KickStart, which would be both the first BlackBerry clamshell and the first BlackBerry flip phone.

The handset is also scheduled to have an inner and outer LCD screen, along with more familar features like a camera, SureType keyboard, and TrackBall scroll.

Still the upcoming KickStart, along with the news that BlackBerry might be producing an i-Phone like touch-screen phone, has me seriously wondering about RIM's faith in their own BlackBerry product. RAZRs and iPhones are great; but when when someone's buying a BlackBerry, it's because they want a first rate BlackBerry style product, not a second rate RAZR or iPhone.
