3G iPhone officially unofficially to be announced Monday, June 9

Okay, here's how it works: Apple hasn't officially admitted that's the date they'll physically unveil the 2nd generation iPhone, but at Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference, that's Monday, June 9th is the date and 10am PCT the time that Steve Jobs will give his keynote speech.

With the two topics on the agenda OS X Leopard® and OS X iPhone, and Apple laying out such hints as there will be a "landmark" announcement (likely GPS pun), it doesn't take a genius to figure out that this will be the iPhone 2's big reveal, with GPS and 3G expected to be the featured additions.

As for the one more thing, well I guess we'll have to wait until the 9th to find out what it is.
